Our Journey

How We Started

Back in 2019, we noticed something. Interior designers in Tai Po were struggling with 3D visualization tools and mood board presentation. They’d invest months learning software but couldn’t translate that into client-ready work. That gap frustrated us.

So we built something different. Spatial Design Studio Limited wasn’t created as a generic training platform. We’re a studio that teaches through doing. Our courses aren’t lectures — they’re collaborative projects where you’ll work on real briefs, solve actual design problems, and build a portfolio as you learn.

We’ve trained over 350 designers since we started. Some became freelancers. Others joined design firms. A few opened their own practices. But they all say the same thing: they weren’t just learning software. They were learning to think like professionals.

How Training Works Here

Foundation & Fundamentals

We start with the basics. Software navigation, modeling principles, lighting fundamentals. But we don’t just show you buttons — we explain the “why” behind every tool. You’ll understand spatial relationships before you ever open rendering software.

Theory matters, but application is everything. You’ll work through actual design briefs — residential spaces, commercial environments, concept visualization. Each project builds on the last, increasing in complexity and real-world relevance.

Your work gets reviewed by professionals who’ve worked with actual clients. We’re not here to praise mediocrity. We’ll tell you what works, what doesn’t, and how to fix it. That feedback loop is where real learning happens.
